When we were getting the picture for out ancillary text advertisement we took a selection of photos to choose from so that if we didn't like out initial idea then we were able to change it for a better image.
Our initial idea was for Mikah to hold the bat around her head onto her shoulders but as we were taking the pictures we noticed that this pose was not the best for her and she wasn't very comfortable posing like that so we decided to change the positions. After this we got her to sit on the floor with her knees bent in a natural position so it looed like she was just sat there effortlessly. This was the most successful pose so we then decided to get her to change the positioning of the bat from on top of the knees to leaning on the wall and holding it with both hands, we got her to do what she felt was most natural to do with the bat. This did take some time because Mikah is not used to holding a bat in this type of situation but she quickly go used to it.
After the floor shots we decided to get some close up shots this was so that we could get Mikah's piercings in the shot because we originally wanted this to be her trademark, but throughout the process we realised that this isn't the easiest thing to get to seamlessly for the music video, so instead we thought we could try to include it in the ancillary text and digipak, but this was again unsuccessful.
